- There's is more to life than promotion...I was asked by someone before paano daw if ayaw nya mapromote? Ang sagot ko ay "Then he cannot be in the company.." The reason is that he is not aligned with the objectives of the company. I'm so wrong! I'm sorry. It will come to a point that you will get tired of the things you're doing and you just want to stay where you are. Yes, promotion comes with the monetary reward. Is it worth it?
- A new joiner's salary in an IT company is higher than the rest because you will be using too much brain cells. The tasks can be too draining. Even if you're about to go to sleep, you will still be thinking about how to make your program work. Aside from that, you have other responsibilities that will eat up your time as well.
- Higher position means lesser friends...there are several reasons for this...(1) you can't be too closey closey with your teammates because you're the boss...you should have your distance...(2) your friends/batchmates already left the company...(3) peers with the same level as yours are also too busy with their own "schedule"..you only see them during meetings...aww!!!
- Being a retool makes you want to prove something to others...Yes, I hate being tagged as a retool but it's real...I am a retool. If you think I like staying late in the office to be a slave, think again...I just have to show to the management and to my team that I can do it. I may not be the best but I am trying.

Maligayang Pasko!!!
Yes, I'm back! After so many months of work slavery, I got a chance to write again. I hope everyone got his/her wishes. As for me, why do I feel that this is just an ordinary day? It saddens me to feel this negativity.
Before it used to be so special, we go to mass then visit our relatives. Now that I am older and working, it is just a day for me to rest. The gift shopping can also be more of an obligation instead of a way to share.

10 things I want to do before I die...
Here I go again with my lists:- invest on stocks (to become financially stable)
- buy a lot for my vacation house (a beachfront villa or a farm)
- ensure my family's future - meaning have some cash handy for them
- travel to at least 4 continents
- prepare a complete meal for my family and friends
- style my airconditioned kitchen
- own a blue beetle/jeep
- resign from acn (malamang!)
- avoid technology driven gadgets
- memorize the mysteries of the rosary
- create my own recipe (and be famous!)
- cruise!!!
